6 in. Recessed Fluorescent Downlight

The H274 is a compact fluorescent housing for non-insulated ceilings or where insulation can be kept 3 in. from the housing. This housing features an integral fluorescent ballast for one 13W Double Twin Tube Compact Fluorescent lamp. Pre-installed and captive bar hangers on the housing can be positioned to any point within a 24 in. joist space. These bar hangers also fit onto T-Bars for easy installation into drop ceilings. The 7 1/2 in. housing height allows use in 2 in. x 8 in. joist construction and the housing adjust for ceilings up to 2 in. thick. UL approved and CSA certified, the H274 with its ease of installation makes a great addition to any home.
